Things you might be wondering
Where do I find my database file?
Open File Explorer and go to
C:\ProgramData\CKZ Time Clock\.
The file is called ckztimeclock.vdb3.
On older installs it may be in
C:\Program Files (x86)\CKZ Inc\CKZ Time Clock\.
Will my desktop program still work?
Yes. We copy your data — your desktop database is never touched. You can run both side-by-side for as long as you like until you're ready to fully switch.
What about employee passwords?
Everyone's existing desktop password moves over automatically. They sign in with the same password they already know.
How far back does my time data go?
All of it. Every time record in your database transfers over — we've seen records going back to 2004.
I'm not technical. Can someone do this for me?
Absolutely. Email your database file to support@ckzinc.com and we'll migrate it for you and send your login details.
What if something looks wrong after the import?
Nothing is deleted from your desktop, so there's no risk. If anything looks off, contact support and we'll sort it out.
