How does seat-based pricing work?
Each paid plan has a small flat base fee plus a per-seat charge for every active employee. For example, Starter is $5 + $2/seat/mo — a team of 10 pays $25/mo. Add employees anytime and your bill adjusts automatically at the next billing cycle. The account administrator never counts as a seat.
What's included in the Free plan?
The Free plan is free forever for teams of 5 or fewer employees. It includes clock in/out from web, mobile, and kiosk, plus punch history and manual time entry. Scheduling, payroll exports, leave management, and GPS features require a paid plan.
What payroll systems does the Online Edition export support?
ADP WorkforceNow, Paychex Flex, QuickBooks Payroll, Gusto, and a generic CSV format compatible with any system. Each export is formatted in the exact file structure your payroll provider expects.
How does the Online Edition mobile app work?
The iOS and Android app connects to your existing Online Edition account. Employees can clock in/out, view their timecard and schedule, check leave balances, submit requests, and message supervisors — all from their phone.
Is there a contract?
No. CKZ Time Clock is month-to-month. Cancel any time with no penalty. No long-term commitment required.
What is the difference between Standard and Network desktop editions?
The Standard Edition is a full-featured single-PC install — unlimited employees, all security features, perfect for a dedicated clock-in station. The Network Edition allows multiple computers on your office network to share time data simultaneously, with remote management and reporting. Network 5 is the most popular choice, giving you up to 5 networked stations at a modest step up from the single-PC price.
Do you offer a discount for nonprofits?

What happens after 30 days?
Your account automatically moves to the Free plan — clock in/out, punch history, and manual time entry stay fully available for up to 10 employees. Scheduling, payroll exports, leave management, and GPS features are paused until you upgrade to Starter or Pro. Your data is never deleted.
